Google launches AdWords Structured Snippets Extensions

Google announced that it will be releasing a new ad extension called Structured Snippets last week, and this will be rolling out to all AdWords accounts within a few weeks.  Structured Snippets Extension allow advertisers to highlight a specific aspect of their products or services – thereby making search ads more relevant and helpful.  See example below:

Structured Snippets Extensions make it possible for advertisers to provide structured information that displays with their text ads. They also save time and simplify campaign management.

This extension also helps advertisers  differentiate their ads from competitors.

Ad extensions boost ad performance as they are a factor in Ad Rank. Although ad extensions don’t always show as much as advertisers would like, the more advertisers provide, the better the auction is at selecting the best combination of extensions to improve performance.
